Position:	LIBRARY TECHNICAL ASSISTANT - ORLANDO

Job Description:	This position is located at the FAMU Law School Library Technical Services Department. in ORLANDO, FLORIDA. Hours are M - F, 8 am- 5 pm.  Job is in the Library Technical Services Department.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  A high school diploma and two years of library service experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Bookkeeping and/or accounting experience is desired.   To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:  Knowledge of policies and procedures for classifying indexing, cataloging and MARC formatting Knowledge of computers and Microsoft office products with emphasis on Excel, and Microsoft Word Knowledge of ALEPH integrated library database, and OCLC bibliographic library system Ability to follow oral and written communication Ability to work as a team player Excellent bookkeeping/accounting skills
