JOB TITLE:  GRAPHIC SPECIALIST

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
This position supports graphics efforts in support of military training systems. 

TYPICAL DUTIES:
  • Use computer software, computer design techniques, and computer-generated media to design new images.
  • Creates materials for interactive technologies (computer-based training, interactive courseware, web-based training, distance learning and tele-training support materials, interactive electronic technical manuals, electronic teaching or instruction tools, and electronic performance support systems).
  • Use computer-aided design systems and artistic techniques to create and revise still graphics and animations.
  • Provide support to the instructional development team to layout and design instructional media.  Draw storyboards to guide development during the production of computer-based training, web-based training, films, and videos.
  • Prepare the following Products/Documents/Reports, as a minimum: Products/ Documents/Reports include Computer-based Images and Graphics, Animations, Storyboards, Electronic Technical Manuals, EPSS.

 Requirements REQUISITE EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:
  • (1) Years practical experience in 3D graphics development associated with development of Interactive Multimedia Instructional materials.
  • Must have experience with any of the following: Flash, 3DS max Advanced Visualization, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Director, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiered, macromedia Flash, ShockWave, Macromedia Director DHTML, and HTML.
  • Familiarity with Interactive Learning Environment (ILE) tools.
  • Must possess or be able to acquire a Government SECRET security clearance.

EDUCATION:
  • AA/AS/Certificate/degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or related area is required.  BS/BA in related area is preferred.
