Job Responsibilities:  Answers questions by telephone, chat, e-mail and text. Compiles Ask A Librarian weekly, monthly and annual statistics. Updates Ask A Librarian webpage and brochures. Oversees Reference collection loose-leaf materials including training and supervising student assistants. Assists with scheduling for Ask A Librarian and  Research and Information Desk. Serves as back-up for the Research & Information office manager. Other duties may be assigned.

Work Schedule: To be discussed with employer.

Salary: $22,686.68 per year.

Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. If minimum requirements of the position do not require post high school education, an applicant is not required to provide the information on the application.
Preferences Library experience, computer skills, including chat or instant messaging experience; excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently as well within a team environment.
