Job Description :
The Computer Operator –
controlling network and peripheral equipment in the company data center. This team player must possess a
strong sense of urgency and be adept at multi-tasking and adapting to changing work assignments quickly in
order to effectively support the needs of the department.
The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong
commitment to tasks completed on time. This person will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and
is disciplined.
2nd Shift (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM) is responsible for operating, monitoring and
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
and tickets, notify appropriate IT personnel – if needed
Provide Level 1 Help Desk support with efficient handling of customer problems, filling out required logs
personnel according to on-call lists
Efficient handling of critical situations when abnormal circumstances occur, including notification of
both written and verbal, for the Help Desk and company personnel
Assist in the review of documentation prepared by other areas and provide the necessary training, updates,•
to network hardware and software and 2
Maintain documentation regarding network configuration, operating procedures, and service records relatingnd shift operations.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of networking technology.
PERSONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
(internal and external) about product functionality and technology as well as individuals at all levels of the
organization
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to speak comfortably with customers
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma and formal training in computers, networks and
programming with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a Data Center and/or Help Desk Support
role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This positon is a project for a length of 60 - 90 days.
