From one of the most sophisticated hotel reservation systems in the world to Disney Cruise Line shipboard systems, Disney Vacation Club member services, FastPass ticketing, PhotoPass, and even inventory applications to ensure we have the right number of Cast costumes.

GBTS seeks forward-thinking team members who are passionate about delivering a quality product and enjoy working closely with business partners on both strategic and tactical challenges.
As a member of the POS deliver team, coordinate, deploy, and support project/program initiatives of the Walt Disney Domestic Segment POS application and associated systems using company standard tools and techniques. Responsible for installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for large production and lab environment.

  • At least 7 years of relevant work as a Systems Analyst with experience with server and application architecture
  • Proven experience and strong understanding of clustered server environments
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, Windows 2003/2008, and SQL 2008
  • Proven experience with current development methodologies, SOA architecture, VM’s and Hyper V
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multiple scripting languages: VB Scripting, PowerShell
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Demonstrated strong documentation skills

  • Demonstrated strong partnering, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Food and Beverage or Merchandise Lines of Business and supported systems
  • Demonstrated experience with various server and Point of Sale hardware and software configurations
  • Certified in Windows Server, SQL 2008 or MCSE

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
